The short version

Fluffdom is a cozy merge game made to be fun and private. Your game progress is saved on your own device. We don't ask for your name, email, or a login. The only thing that leaves your device is an optional leaderboard entry — a nickname you choose and your score — if you decide to post one. We also collect anonymous usage stats (like how far players get) to improve the Game — never your name, email, or anything that identifies you. We don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party ad/tracking cookies on the web. The mobile app (Apple App Store / Google Play) shows ads via Google AdMob and offers optional in-app purchases; the free web version does not.

This Privacy Policy explains how Code The Cloud, LLC ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Fluffdom game ("the Game"), on the web and on mobile app stores. By playing the Game, you agree to this policy.

Information stored on your device

The Game keeps your progress and preferences in your device's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This includes things like your coins, score, merged animals, upgrades, daily-streak, sound settings, and chosen theme. This data stays on your device — it is not sent to us and is not associated with your identity. You can erase it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the Game (on the web, by clearing your browser's site data).

Information sent to our servers

The Game offers an optional global leaderboard. If you choose to post a score, the Game sends the following to our servers (hosted on Amazon Web Services):

That's the entire contents of a leaderboard submission. If you never post a score, nothing is sent.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how people play and make the Game better, we collect a small amount of anonymous usage information on our own servers (Amazon Web Services). This is sent automatically as you play, and includes things like:

This information is not linked to your identity — there is no name, email, account, precise location, or device advertising identifier involved. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook, or third-party advertising/tracking cookies on the web; this is our own first-party measurement and it stays with us. You can stop it at any time by not playing, or by clearing the app's/site's data (which also removes the random ID).

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect or ask for your name, email address, phone number, password, precise location, contacts, photos, or any government or financial identifiers. There are no user accounts and no sign-in.

Advertising and purchases

The mobile app versions of Fluffdom (Apple App Store and Google Play) show ads and offer optional in-app purchases. The free web version at fluffdom.com does not serve third-party ads.

How we use information

The limited information we receive is used only to operate the optional leaderboard (to display top scores and show you which entry is yours) and to keep the Game working and free of abuse (for example, a basic filter to keep nicknames family-friendly). We do not use it for profiling or to contact you.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Game:

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Children's privacy

Fluffdom is designed for a general audience and is family-friendly, but it is not directed to children under 13 and is not enrolled as a "child-directed" / "Kids" app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the Game does not request personal information from anyone, the only data a child could submit is a self-chosen nickname and score on the optional leaderboard. If you believe a child has posted information you'd like removed, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Your choices & data deletion

Data retention

Local data persists on your device until you remove it. A leaderboard entry persists until you request deletion or we reset the board.

Security

Data in transit to our servers is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep what we collect deliberately minimal so there is very little at risk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves (for example, when ads or purchases are added). We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app or store listing.
